Fancy: What’s one thing you mastered in order to excel professionally?
Tiffani: Building relationships! I am good at building relationships and relationships are key. Relationships are key to whatever you’re doing. I also learned what questions to ask and when to ask them. In essence, I learned how to be a dandelion. Dandelions do not go away, and I would not go away. I kept coming back and learning more. Dandelions pop up in lawns whether you want them there or not. They are among the most familiar plants with unmistakable characteristics. Everyone knows what a dandelion is and what it looks like. These flowers open up to greet the morning, and they close in the evening to go to sleep. Every part of the dandelion is useful. I’ve used this for myself in making myself indispensable, making myself recognizable and familiar to others and with other things.
Fancy: Can you tell us a little about Rustic Urbanlife and what inspired it?
Tiffani: Rustic Urbanlife aims to remind people to amplify gratitude, to preserve the simplicity of things that work and to focus on bringing people back to the essentials of being (while acknowledging the demands of dynamic and fast-paced environments). Rustic Urbanlife helps individuals and groups to identify what is important in their lives and encourages the simple and basic acts of living. Acts such as taking on DIY projects, learning how to quickly make great food at home, and fostering meaningful relationships throughout their community networks.
Fancy: Where do you hope to see the brand five years from now?
Tiffani: In five years, I will see the Rustic Urbanlife brand designing and selling products in stores, boutiques, and inboxes! Rustic Urbanlife will also have a farm where people can come and learn how to be peaceful and get back to the basics.
