Wednesday Wonder Woman: Tiy Jones

Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Dickinson, Texas, Tiy Jones has southern hospitality with Cali flavor, hailing from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. She is the owner of Tailored By Tiy Creative Works, a production company and Press Plaay Promotions, a staffing agency for events and spirits. Ms. Jones has also created Classy Rose Capital a platform to inspire women to get more involved in the finance industry such as real estate, cryptocurrency, stock, forex trading to get these coins. She is also passionate about serving and sharing information to help others get to their destination in life; as a mentor or a liaison. One would call Jones a Maverick. She loves being in nature, laying on the beach soaking up the sun rays of vitamin D, reading traveling, eating healthy, beauty DIY’s, and being with family.

Tiy Jones is one of the 90% of black women affected by Fibroids by the age of 50. Ms. Jones started her journey when she found out she had Fibroids in 2013. She had dilating cramps where she fell to the floor and could not get up and walk. After being rushed to the emergency room and after all the exams, the doctor came back casually said to Jones, “you have Fibroids”. He then prescribed Tramadol. From that day, on she made it her mission to research and seek out holistic help. Ms. Jones journey has finally led her to create Goddess Womb, as she is pro non-surgery.

She is creating this platform for ALL women (especially African-American women who want to take the holistic approach and not have surgery but have no idea where to start. Learn more about Tiy below. 

Fancy: How would you describe your swagher?

 

Tiy: Creating my own world and dancing to what makes my soul happy.

Fancy: What makes Tiy, Tiy?

Tiy: My life experiences and knowing who I am. Being resilient, independent, resourceful and always self-educated. Just being me.

Fancy: Please share a little about your four brands, Tailored By Tiy Creative Works, Press Plaay Promotions, Classy Rose Capital, and Goddess Womb and what inspired each.

 

Tiy: Tailored By Tiy Creative Works is my production company for filming. It came from within my writing in my journal everyday and just receiving creative concepts to bring to life. I produced my first pilot in South Korea; when I was teaching English. I did not attend any production school, I learned from my self-taught experiences of being onset acting in commercials, movies, talk shows and more.  I love to put ideas together and see them come alive in full production.

Press Plaay Promotions was created out of the 10 plus years of experience and knowledge of working as a brand ambassador for various promotional marketing companies in the merchandise, spirit, wine, and beer realm. The money and the environment was better than a 9-5, and I worked my own schedule. So, I said to myself, since I have experience and skills in this field and I was ready to retire from being a brand ambassador, I just said to self “start my own promotional company and give people jobs to bring in an extra income or do it full time.” The promotional marketing industry is very lucrative and fun.  There are always memorable experiences and new connections.

Classy Rose Capital is to inspire women to be more involved in the world of finances; to gain knowledge on how to get your coins up  in various financial industries such as Forex, real-estate, and Crypto. Fortunately, I have had hands- on -experience with learning these new skills. When you learn a new skill, you become more value. I immersed myself in the financial world to learn how money works.  But why keep all this information to myself when I can share and help other Queens?

Goddess Womb was created from dealing with womb issues that I have endured since I started my menstrual cycle. Then I found out I had fibroids in 2013 in the ER from debilitating pain. Plus, learning that my mom and grandmother had a hysterectomy and my aunt had a partial hysterectomy, I knew that was not the route I wanted to take. I started seeking information on how to be more healthy and heal naturally from fibroids and through that process learned that so many women, mainly African-American, women suffer in silence from this condition (it’s not a disease or hereditary). Goddess Womb is a holistic platform from women to have access to Natural Health Practitioners, educational information, and support for womb issues and removal of Fibroids naturally.

Fancy: You wear many hats; how do you get it all done?

 

Tiy: I didn’t start them all at the same time, lol. At one point I could handle each company on my own and now each one is expanding, so I have to build a solid team.

Fancy: What is one thing you overcame professionally or personally in order to grow and how did you do so?

Tiy: I had to let my faith be bigger than my fear. Since I stepped out and said I’m going to focus on building Goddess Womb Enterprise, so many challenges have come my way and continue to test my reactions. But, with my daily positive affirmations, no matter the obstacle, I stay focused on the main goal of building and planting seeds for my harvest.

Fancy: What are some tips that you would give women suffering from fibroids?

 

Tiy: First tip; STOP using tampons and use organic plant base pads. You can find our Goddess Womb Bag filled with feminine care products on my website, and second tip, STOP eating animal products.

Fancy: Out of curiosity, is there any surgery that you might approve of?

 

Tiy: For me surgery is not an option since I know and heard the stories of fibroids being removed naturally at different sizes. 

Fancy: For those considering more holistic lifestyles, where do you suggest they start?

 

Tiy: I get that question all the time; be conscious of the foods you are eating, do research. The foods we eat communicate with our body. It’s true, you are what you eat.
