Well, before we get into all of that, let’s pour some liquor, and take a sip for the homie we lost. It seemed like just yesterday, we were all inspired to drop out of college, register late, then finally, graduate. His earliest work, was definitely his best. He had us all walking with Jesus, waiting on a Spaceship, and making it Through the Wire. Next, we touched the sky, pointed out the gold diggers and started rocking Diamonds from Sierra Leone. All of that led us to living the Good Life, under Flashing Lights, partying with Drunk and Hot Girls. Man, oh man- what a good time we all had.
However, as the years have gone by, it seems like Mr. West has changed, and not at all in a good way. It is uncertain when this transformation began, but it seems like the change started after the untimely, and unexpected death of his mother, Donda West. Undoubtedly, she was his anchor. She kept him grounded, and reminded him of where he came from. It seemed like after her passing, he lost his mind and to this day- still has not found it.
Remember the 2009 VMA’s when he jumped on stage and snatched the mic from Taylor Swift? That might have been the first sign of his deteriorating mental health. ‘Cuz like, who does that?
Fast forward to this week- where he’s advocating for our beloved POTUS, and dragging our former president at the same time. This leads to our original question- what the f*ck happened to Kanye West?!
Well, the first theory is the most popular, which is that he’s in the “sunken placeâ€. We’ve all seen the movie Get Out, where a young black man is taken to a deserted area by his girlfriend, where her family auctions him off to the highest bidder, who will use his body, for his own selfish purposes. Being in “the sunken place†keeps his consciousness out of the way and he can only observe what is happening around him. This definitely sounds like what is happening with Kanye, as the things that he now says and does no longer coincide with who and what he used to be.
The next theory is that he has been a victim of MK Ultra Mind Control- and its name speaks for itself. Its “himâ€- but not. In other words, his brain has been reprogrammed to do and say things that he cannot control. This would definitely explain his recent Twitter rants about President Trump and how he’s not so bad. Even Stevie Wonder can see that Trump is a racist, misogynistic, bigot. Somehow, though, Mr. West is standing up for him, and even says, “We are both dragon energy. He is my brother.†So, Kanye is related to an old, racist, right- wing? Please!  If this is not evidence that he is somehow being mind-controlled, we might as well just stop here.
Although his wife, Kim Kardashian West, has stated that she does not agree with Kanye, we can also theorize that he is now under the Kardashian spell. Since he has been married into the family of the modern day Witches of Eastwick, West has definitely gotten more out of control with his words and rants. Perhaps their spell went awry. Maybe it worked too well, and now there is no turning back. For crying out loud- the poor guy bleached his hair!
But on a serious note- what happened to the man whose music spoke out against police brutality and racism? What happened to the Kanye that once declared that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people� How could he now be a Trump supporter? Something just isn’t right. All we can do now, is pray for him and reminisce about the good ole’ days, when he actually made sense when he opened his mouth.
