Wednesday Wonder Woman: Desiree’ Stapleton

Desiree’ Stapleton is an Author, CEO, and Consultant in Atlanta that specializes in goal fulfillment strategy. She helps individuals set themselves up for success by helping them make decisions that align with their desired outcome, addressing the mindset issues they face that serve as barriers to their success, and providing them with tools, resources, and strategies to achieve goal fulfillment.

She is passionate about this work because, as someone that has faced many traumas and challenges, she understands the importance of being free from those strongholds and “making it to the other side.” She recognizes that in order for some to truly believe change is possible, they need to be able to see those that they relate to overcoming the same challenges that they currently face. She advocates that “There is life on the other side” and that her clients have everything it takes to live the life they envision.

Kennedy: What is your SwagHer? What makes Desiree’, Desiree’?

Desiree’: My resilience, tenacity, and grit. Since my youth, I’ve been handed some challenging cards, and I use the lessons and character traits that have developed from those times as the bricks that have laid the foundation for my business and legacy.

Kennedy: What is “goal fulfillment strategy,” and what does it encompass?

Desiree’: Goal Fulfillment Strategy is the art of game-planning all of the things it will take for you to accomplish your goal. It’s creating an action plan comprised of resources needed, habits and traits that need to be formed to ensure continual success, ways to address past pain points, and more. When I am booked as their consultant, I do go through ‘everything under the sun’ to formulate a thoroughly detailed plan of action for them. If they elect not to utilize consulting services, then there are courses they can take and/or communities I have that they could be a part of and get what they need.

Kennedy: How long have you been in this line of business?

Desiree’: I have been in this field of work for about ten years. Even young, I served as the go-to person to get things done, as the leader of groups, and the one that was asked for advice. I’ve been the one trusted to get the job done for a while now. I’m only just now realizing that it was all much bigger than that- that I was supposed to expound on those things and empower others.

Kennedy: In your opinion, what is an ideal mindset to have when trying to achieve success?

Desiree’: There’s so many. The first would be that you need to re-arrange your focus. Instead of thinking “what” do I need to do in order to make this happen, you first need to think: “who” do I need to become to make this thing happen. We skimp out on the traits and habits we need to develop in order to attain and sustain success when we are only focused on the external process that needs to happen.

Kennedy: What was a challenging time for you in your career, and how did you overcome this challenge?

Desiree’: I think every entrepreneur that is passionate about their work wonders if they are doing enough. What I have learned, though, is that we are not permitted to see every garden that grows from every seed that we have sown. Our job is solely to plant seeds; I think we mess up by gauging our success on how many harvests we’ve witnessed, rather than gauging it by how many seeds we’ve sown. We can’t control the results. We can only control sowing.

Kennedy: Who is an inspiration to you?

Desiree’: I was tempted to name someone whose work ethic and level of success I admire, but then I realized they haven’t directly or intentionally contributed to my personal success. Someone who has though and is even more inspiring is the CEO of Inherit Learning Company: Nicole Walters. Nicole Walters of nicolewalters.com is somebody that has sown into me and my business and is committed to seeing that I succeed. She does not just inspire me. I respect her. Her ethics and values are REAL, and she is a gem. Not to mention sis is killing the game with her 1K1Day academy that teaches every-day entrepreneurs how to do business the right way, has a whole TV show, is the funniest wife and mom of three, AND is a millionaire? Like what? Nicole wins hands-down. Her teachings, paired with my work ethic, was the catalyst I needed.

Kennedy: What is some advice you can give to the readers about achieving their own success goals?

Desiree’: Figure out where you’re trying to go and why. What life do you want to live? Why? Once you answer that, start building yourself to become the person required to get the job done. That may mean you have to do more research on how to attain your goal. You may have to become somebody that is more reliable. You may need to clean up your personal life and deal with some skeletons in your closet. I help with all of those things. Reach out. There are resources available, so don’t be out here needlessly struggling. Go to desireestapleton.com, okay? There is something there that can help you.

Kennedy: Do you have any upcoming events or projects you would like our readers to know about?

Desiree’: My Goal Fulfillment Strategy course launched at the top of the year along with my Effective Goal Setting “How To” course, and it provides people with the framework to ‘get it together’ and keep it together. On the first of February, in response to those whose crowns lie heavy on their heads, I am launching my “How to be SuperWoman to Yourself” course. I am also releasing a new book, “What We Need to Hear: 365 Days a Year,” that will take the shape of an affirmation a day for 365 days.

Kennedy: Is there anything else you would like to share?

Desiree’: You have got everything it takes to live the life that you envision. Everything. It’s time to start hanging around people that can pull that greatness out of you and help cultivate your visions. You are too worthy of His best to stay stuck in the chains that you have found yourself in. There are chain-breakers out here that can help you make it out. Just reach out. I have a whole community geared towards personal growth and development and giving people the environment they need to help them stay accountable and see results. It’s right on my homepage. That WORTHY+FAVORED community is EVERYTHING. Reach out your hand. Some of us that have “made it out” are dedicated to helping you make it out too. There’s life on the other side, and you deserve to see it.
